Ben Barker was involved in horror crash at British Final on Monday night. Ben Barker injury is one of many this season for a lot of riders.
In heat 1 Ben Barker lost control over his bike and hit the fence at full speed. It took about 30 minutes after he was carried off to a hospital. At the moment there are no full update about his status but club confirmed that he has full movement in his limbs but has broken at least one vertebrae.
The Berwick Bandits said: „Ben told us tonight that he has broken at least one vertebra and is awaiting a further MRI scan to ascertain if an operation will be needed. He finished his message by thanking everyone who has already send messages of encouragement and good will, closing his news by firmly stating „I’ll be back!”. Information has been delivered by Western Morning News.

According to Taz McD Berwick Bandits unofficial speedway reports MRI scans revealed that he has 3 broken vertabrae and is awaiting what steps the doctors will take next.
