World No.8 Jaroslaw Hampel will miss Denmark’s FIM Monster Energy Speedway World Cup as he faces few months on the sidelines with a broken leg.
Hampel was pummelled into the Gniezno air fence in heat four of the first semifinal of the Speedway World Cup on June 6. He suffered comminuted fracture of the femur and bleeding in the right leg.
It is unclear exactly how long he will have to stay off the bike but similar injury 3 years ago took him almost whole season.
