Tomasz Gollob has suffered a very serious accident on the motocross track Sunday morning.
On Sunday morning Tomasz Gollob was scheduled to take part in the motocross championships in Chełmno. During training lap it is said he lost control of the motorcycle and was seriously injured.
– Tomasz Gollob has serious head and spinal injuries. Without more tests I can not say anything else, but I doubt he will be able this season to go to ride again – said physician Wojciech Kłysiński according to Gazeta Wyborcza.
Later today Gollob was supposed to take part in Speedway Ekstraliga match between his team GKM Grudziadz and Stal Gorzow.
He will be probably replaced by youngster Kamil Wieczorek, Antonio Lindback won’t be on time. It’s still not known if the match will be held.

According to Zbigniew Boniek, Tomasz Gollob’s friend, he has feeling in his legs and it’s not that serious. Let’s hope this will confirm.

At the moment Tomasz is on the operating room in the hands of Professor Marek Harat – said Rybacki. – Gollob has a damaged vertebral core and vertebra TH7. Examinations did not show any head injuries, but there is no feeling in the legs – admits the doctor.
